Andrea Vieira was a Brazilian professional tennis player who achieved a career-best singles ranking of #76 in the world in November 1989, and a doubles ranking of #134 in the world in April 1991. Vieira played on Brazil’s Fed Cup team in 1990 and 1992.
Vieira won 11 singles titles on the ITF Circuit from September 1987 to October 1996. As a doubles player she won 13 ITF titles and had several successful partnerships, winning multiple titles with Luciana Tella, Vanessa Menga, and Miriam D’Agostini. On the WTA Tour Vieira only reached one doubles final when she and her and partner Cláudia Chabalgoity finished as runners-up at the 1993 Brasil Open.
Vieira had success at the Pan American Games where she won gold, silver, and bronze in 1991, and two bronze medals in 1995. She competed in the singles and doubles at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics where she and Cláudia Chabalgoity reached the second round in the doubles.
