Biography

Greek track and field athlete Konstantinos Petridis was born in Lefkosia in Cyprus in 1906. Petridis ran in the 100 metres and the 4 × 100 metres relay at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics but did not advance from the heats in either race. He also competed in both the triple jump and long jump in Amsterdam, finishing 17th and 29th, respectively. The following year Petridis won gold in the triple jump and long jump at the Pan-Balkan Games.

Personal Bests: 100 – 11.2 (1926); LJ – 6.86 (1929); TJ – 14.08 (1928).
