Giambattista Orlandi was an Italian sprinter. Born in Milano and competing for Sport Club Italia, he set his personal best in 1919 in the 100 and 200 metres, at the age of 21. His only international competition was the 1920 Olympics where he failed to survive the heats in both races, as well as in the 4x100m relay. Domestically, he never won an individual national title, mostly due to the presence of Vittorio Zucca and Franco Giongo.
Orlandi won the 4x100 relay title in September 1921 in Bologna (the first time this race was held at the Italian championships) alongside Angelo Vigani, Angelo Scuri and Ernesto Bonacina with 46.6.
Personal Bests: 100 – 11.0 (1919); 200 – 23.0 (1919).
