Lucio Sangermano was a sprinter who won the 1953 Italian Championship in the 200 metres. He earned seven caps between 1951-57. Sangermano competed at the 1952 Olympics in the 200, failing to get past the heats, and at the 1954 European Championships, where he helped Italy to a fifth-place finish in the 4x100. Sangermano left sports in 1957 and became a prominent Italian lawyer.
