Edgardo Toetti finished fourth with the 4×100 metres relay (with Elio Ragni and the non-Olympians Ulderico Di Blas and Mario Larocchi) at the 1934 European Championships. He was a 12-time Italian champion over 100 m (1928-1932, 1934), 200 m (1928, 1932, 1934) and in the sprint relay (1930, 1933, 1935).
