Biography
Yvonne Saunders had the following podium finishes at major championships: 3rd in the 1971 Pan American Games 400 metres, 3rd in the 1971 Pan American Games 4×400 metres Relay (with Ruth Williams, Marilyn Neufville, and the non-Olympian Beverly Franklin). In the long jump Saunders finished fifth at the 1971 Pan American Games.
Personal Bests: 400 – 51.67 (1974); 800 – 2:00.1 (1975).
