Francisco Contreras was a Mexican track and field athlete who competed in sprinting, hurdles, and the long jump. In the latter Contreras finished in 28th place at the 1924 Paris Olympics with a best jump of 5.735 metres. In the 110 metres hurdles in Paris he finished in last place in his heat and was eliminated. Contreras died quite young at the age of 44 in March 1949.
