Biography

Ivan Möller won 11 national athletics titles, set a Swedish record in the 110 metres hurdles, and won a silver medal at the Olympics. Möller won his first national title in 1907 when he was part of the quartet that won the 4x100 metres relay, before going on to win four back-to-back titles in the same event from 1909 to 1912. In 1909 he was the national champion in both the high jump and the standing high jump. Möller followed this by winning the 110 metres title from 1910 to 1912 and winning the 200 metres title in 1911. Although he never won the 100 metres title, he did amass six medals in the event at the national championships, with two silver (1908–09), and four bronze (1907, 1910–12).

In 1911 Möller set a Swedish record in the 110 metres with a time of 16.4 seconds, which stood until 1912 when Paul Zerling ran 15.9 seconds. At the 1912 Stockholm Olympics Möller won silver with the Swedish relay team in the 4 × 100 metres. He also ran in the 100 and 200 metres, reaching the semi-finals in both events.

Personal Bests: 100 – 10.8 (1911); 200 – 22.4e (1912).
