Biography

Panus Ariyamongkol was a member of the Thai 4×100 m squad (with Anat Ratanapol, Somsakdi Tongsuke, and the non-Olympian Kanoksakdi Chantasanont) who won the Asian Games 1970, where he also reached the semi final in 200 m. In the Olympics 1972, when his twin brother Surapong had joined the team, the Thais did not survive the opening round. In 1973 the Ariyamongkol twins was members of the Thai team taking the silver medal in the Asian Championships with the time of 40,0.

Personal Best: 100 – 10.53 (1969).
