Biography

Jan Szczepański was a Olympic gold medalist as a lightweight at the 1972 München Games and also won the 1971 European Championship, beating Romanian Vasile Antoniu in Madrid. He was Polish amateur champion in 1961-63, but at the end of that year he was arrested for alcohol and drug abuse.
