Kaufman Geist won the 1921 AAU triple jump and also placed second in that event in 1922 and third in 1920. In 1920 he was AAU Junior Champion. Geist competed for the 92nd Street YMHA in 1920 but later competed for the Glencoe AC. He was an accountant in Brooklyn.
