Julie Parisien skied for four years on the World Cup circuit, winning three titles. These came in giant slalom at Waterville Valley, New Hampshire in March 1991; in slalom at Sundsvall, Sweden in March 1992; and in slalom at Park City, Utah in November 1992. She had one other World Cup podium finish and 15 top 10s in her career. At the 1993 World Championships, Parisien won a silver in slalom. She narrowly missed an Olympic medal, placing fourth in slalom and fifth in giant slalom at Albertville in 1992. After her retirement from the World Cup circuit, Parisien skied for 10 years on the pro tour. She later became the ski ambassador for Jiminy Peak Ski Resort in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts. Her brother, Rob, also skied for the US at the 1992 Winter Olympics, and her sister, Anne-Lise, competed at the 1994 Winter Olympics.
