Czech-born Utz Chwalla was an Austrian bobsledder participating in the 1972 Sapporo Winter Olympics. He crewed with Herbert Gruber, Josef Eder, and Josef Oberhauser in the four-men Austria I bob and was placed sixth. Nationally, Chwalla was also active as a sailor.
