Biography

Norwegian ice hockey player Olav Dalsøren represented several clubs in Oslo where he became recognised as an emerging talent in the mid-1950s. Dalsøren won league titles in 1961 and 1975, and was awarded with the Gullpucken by the Norwegian Ice Hockey Federation for being the best player in 1968. He also had a long career with the national team, playing in multiple editions of the World Championships, and the Olympics in 1964 and 1968, and winning bronze at the 1962 European Ice Hockey Championships. Dalsøren retired in 1976 and then worked as a coach and manager.
