Biography

Tor Gundersen had a long ice hockey career for his club Vålerengens IF, winning 10 national championships in the period 1960-71. In 1960 he was awarded the Gold Puck as the best player in the Norwegian league. He played in two Olympic Winter Games, 1964 and 1968, and as a solid defender played in 49 official matches for the national team. Gundersen also played for Norway at the B World Championships in 1963, scoring three goals, with two assists, in six games.
