Bobsleigh exponent Anton Kaltenberger partnered Hans Volckmar at the 1936 Garmisch-Partenkirchen Winter Olympics. The pair finished 19th in the two men event. They had both won a bronze medal at the 1931 World Championships, but did not finish at the 1933 Worlds due to two crashes on the first two runs.
