Biography

The high point of Vladimir Kozlov’s career was at the 1988 Olympics, where he won gold in the 2-man event and bronze in the 4-man event with pilot Jānis Ķipurs. At the 1989-90 World Cup Kozlov and Māris Poikāns won a full set of medals, a gold in the combined event, silver in the 4-man event and bronze in the 2-man event. Kozlov later worked as a vice-president of the Moscow Region Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation.
