Biography

Arthur Kristiansen was a Norwegian ice hockey player who began his career in the early 1940s. Kristiansen played for both SK Strong and Stabæk IF as a goaltender before he retired in the mid-1950s. He also played for the national team, winning bronze at the 1951 European Ice Hockey Championships in Paris. The following year he was named in Norway’s squad for the ice hockey tournament at the 1952 Oslo Olympics. Kristiansen, however, was the second-choice goaltender for the Games and only played in one match.
