James Jameson ran the 100 metre handicap event at the 1900 Paris Olympics, but did not get past the first round. Jameson was a New Hampshire native who attended Princeton University. He then attended medical school and was on staff as a surgeon for two years at the Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. He established his own surgery practice in Concord, New Hampshire in 1919, staying in that area until his death.
