Calvin Harrison was a long sprinter who ran the 4x400 metre relay at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, alongside his twin brother Alvin Harrison. Initially the USA seemed to have won gold in the event but it was later rescinded when another teammate, Antonio Pettigrew, admitted to using performance enhancing drugs during the 2008 trial of his coach, Trevor Graham.
Calvin Harrison was voted as Track and Field News High School Athlete of the Year in 1993. He later attended Hartnell College but did not run track there. Calvin competed at the 2003 World Championships in the 400 and 4x400, but his results there were voided due to a PED violation at the 2003 US Championships for a stimulant, modafinil, which effectively ended his career.
Personal Best: 400 – 44.62 (2003).
