Brian Arseneau was a short-track speed skater who competed in short-track demonstration events at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. Arseneau won six US titles in short-track and set multiple US records. He skated at eight World Championships and the Winter Universiade in 1985, 1989, and 1991. Arseneau won eight medals at the US Olympic Festival between 1981-91. He was an athlete representative on the US Ice Skating Association board of control from 1988-92 and was instrumental in helping establishing the US Olympic Training Center in Marquette, Michigan in 1988.
