Name previously given as William Herb Morley, but this is a mixup of two players. Contemporaty Detriot newspapers state that Dr. William H. Morley was the curler sent to Lake Placid. There was also another curler and prominent businessman Herbert “Herb” Morley active at that era in Detroit, who was the vice president of Detriot Curling Club in the 1940s.
