Francis Parks competed in the 1932 curling demonstration events. Parks was on the Massachusetts team that tied for sixth. He was a member of The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts that did have curling facilities.
Parks, who graduated from Yale, was a pioneer in Boston’s accident and health insurance business. He was secretary of the Loyal Protective Insurance Company. He was one of the first to compile disability statistics when he published original tables in 1911 covering 56,142 lives and 94,480 years of experience.
