Biography

Tracy Farnham played in the basketball tournament that was held during the 1904 St. Louis Olympics. He played for the St. Louis Central YMCA team that finished fourth in the tournament. Box scores for St. Louis Central YMCA in 1904 are not available so we do not have details on Farnham’s games.

Farnham’s family moved to Missouri from New York when his father got a job as a senior engineer on the Missouri Railway. Tracy Farnham worked as a clerk for the Norville-Shapleigh Hardware Company in 1904. He was later a farmer in Richwoods, Missouri and then worked for the state highway department.
