Albert Manweiler was one of the original members of the Buffalo Germans team that formed in 1895 at a YMCA on Buffalo’s East Side. Manweiler played in every one of the Buffalo Germans’ wins at the 1904 St. Louis Olympics. The team won 111 consecutive games between 1908-10. They were inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 1961. The Buffalo Germans were disbanded in 1925 after compiling a 792-86 record.
