Biography
William Newman played in the basketball tournament that was held during the 1904 St. Louis Olympics. Newman represented the Missouri Athletic Club, which finished third in the tournament. The only box score we have for the Missouri AC was in their game against the Buffalo Germans, which they lost 97-8. Newman played in that game and was the leading scorer for Missouri with four points.
