Biography

Sara Reiling-Hildebrand was a diver who competed at the 2000 and 2004 Olympics, on platform at both Olympics and in the synchronized platform in 2004. She participated as Sara Reiling in 2000 and Sara Hildebrand in 2004.

Reiling-Hildebrand won a bronze medal at the 2003 Pan American Games in synchronized springboard. She two bronze medals at the 2003 World University Games in synchronized springboard and platform. She was USA Diving’s Athlete of the Year in 2003.

Sara Reiling dove at Indiana University where she earned 10 All-American honors, on all three levels of competition, and she was inducted into the Indiana University Hall of Fame in 2016. She became a coach, hired as the first diving coach at Florida Gulf Coast University in 2006, but she left that position when she and her family moved to California.
