Biography

Flatwater canoeist Victor Salmhofer represented Austria at the 1948 London Olympics in the Canadian doubles, partnering Katl Molnar. The pair placed fifth over 1,000 metres and fourth over 10,000 metres. In both races the Austrians were a long way behind the French double bronze medallists, Georges Dransart and Georges Gandil.
