Jang Thill was a painter and glass artist from Luxembourg. Thill first studied architecture in Paris, then painting and sculpture in München and Bruxelles. His best-known works were architectural studies on the cities of Paris and München as well as mural paintings. During the occupation of his home country by the German troops, Thill adopted the art concept of the Nazis and eventually became a party member.
