Aleksander Kłopotowski studied at the School of Fine Arts in Warszawa from 1919-37, under Olympian Wojciech Jastrzębowski amongst others. Kłopotowski was a member of the artistic groups RZUT and Blok Zawodowych Artystów Plastyków (Block of Professional Artists). He was also an active member of the Society for the Promotion of Art. Kłopotowski presented his landscapes, portraits and figural scenes at exhibitions in Poland as well as in Western Europe and Canada.
