Siegfried Hochermann was an Austrian swimmer who was entered at several events at the 1906 Intercalated Olympics, but he did not compete in any of them. Hochermann was a well-known swimmer and water poloist in Austria who helped organize the Wiener Schwimm-Club Austria.
Hochermann was an engineer by profession. He was one of the founders of the ÖLV-Österreichischer Leichtathletik-Verband in 1906, where he served as secretary, and was President of the Wiener Amateur Sportverein (WAS) from 1924 to 1926. In October 1913 Hochermann married Ida Bauer (Boscovits).
Hochermann was from a Jewish family. Under the Nazi regime, he was deported to Berlin and on 19 January 1942, to the Riga Ghetto, where he was executed shortly thereafter.
