Biography

Steve Tucker competed at the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games in lightweight double sculls rowing. He appeared at the World Championships in 1997-99 and 2001-02, in the lightweight singles in 1997 and 2001-02, and the lightweight doubles in 1998-99. Tucker won a bronze medal in lightweight single sculls at the 2002 Worlds. He also finished second in the Double Sculls Challenge Cup at the 1998 Henley Royal Regatta.

Tucker rowed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), graduating in 1991 with a physics degree. He worked from 2011-15 with Infinium, a company working to evolve metals production. In 2015 he founded Swimmetric LLC, which develops wearable technology for swimming.
