Greg Ruckman was a lightweight rower who competed at the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games. Ruckman rowed at seven World Championships, always in lightweight events, appearing in 1997-99, 2003, and 2005-07. He won gold in the lightweight eight in 1999, silver in the 2004 lightweight double sculls, and bronze in the 2005 lightweight quad sculls.
Ruckman rowed in college at Harvard. Originally from Cincinnati he stayed in the Boston area after college until he developed a love of skate skiing and moved to Summit County, Colorado for the sole purpose of becoming better at that sport.
