Biography

Attila Sávolt was a Hungarian tennis player who played professionally from 1995 to 2006. Sávolt achieved a career-best singles ranking of #68 in the world in April 2002 and a doubles ranking of #133 in the world in January 2002. A two-time Hungarian champion, he also won six singles and six doubles titles on the ATP Challenger Tour. At Grand Slams he twice made it to the third round at the French Open, losing to Lleyton Hewitt in 2000 and Guillermo Coria in 2003. In 2000 Sávolt played in both the singles and doubles at the Sydney Olympics, partnering with Gábor Köves in the latter.
