Henrieta Nagyová was a Slovak tennis player who played professionally from 1994 to 2005. Nagyová achieved a career-best singles ranking of #21 in the world in September 2001 and a doubles ranking of #37 in the world in May 2002. She won her first WTA singles title in September 1996 with victory against Barbara Paulus at the J&S Cup in Poland. Nagyová went on to win a further eight WTA singles and four doubles titles during her career. Although more accomplished as a singles player, her best Grand Slam performances came in the doubles, as she reached the quarter-finals at the French Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open in the early 2000s. In 2000 she played in the singles at the Sydney Olympics but lost in straight sets to Venus Williams in her opening match, with Williams ultimately going on to win the gold medal.
