Biography

Anna Zaporozhanova was a Ukrainian tennis player who played professionally from 1994 to 2008. Zaporozhanova achieved a career-best singles ranking of #209 in the world in September 2000 and a doubles ranking of #120 in the world in August 2000. On the ITF Circuit she won four singles and nine doubles titles during her career. In 2000 she reached two doubles finals on the WTA Tour with Iroda Tulyaganova of Uzbekistan, with the pair finishing as runners-up each time. Later the same year Zaporozhanova partnered with Olena Tatarkova for the doubles at the Sydney Olympics, losing in the second round to the French duo of Julie Halard-Decugis and Amélie Mauresmo.
