Ādolfs Petrovskis played hockey for Latvia at the 1936 Winter Olympics. He was a center who also played at the 1933, 1935, and 1938 World Championships and the 1932 European Championships. During a short career (1931-38) Petrovskis played for Rīga US, Rīga City, and Rīga ASK, winning four Latvian Championships.
