Biography

Stanislav Petukhov played his entire career, from 1956-68, with one club – Dynamo Moskva. He never won a Soviet title with them, but was runner-up in 1959-60 and 1962-64 and third in 1956-58 and 1966-68. Internationally, besides his Olympic gold and bronze medals, Petukhov was twice World Champion (1963-64) and won a bronze in 1960. He also won European Championships three times (1960, and 1963-64). After his sporting career, Petukhov worked from 1968-91 as a coach with Dynamo Moskva, while from 1992-94 he was the director of the Dynamo Moskva hockey club.
