Adam Hostetter competed in giant slalom snowboarding at the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics. Hostetter was a native of Cape Cod but started riding at Vermont’s Stowe Resort. He honed his racing skills at Maine’s Carabasset Valley Academy where he trained on Sugarloaf Mountain and often rode alongside his cousin, Jeremy Jones. Shortly after the Nagano Olympics Hostetter broke his femur during a film shoot in Valdez, Alaska and underwent surgery. Hostetter also ran an ad agency focused on the board sports industry, called Red Eye Productions.
