Equestrian dressage at the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics was carried out on the grounds of the Riviera Country Club. One of the best known golf courses in the world, it has hosted three major championships – the US Open in 1948 and the PGA Championship in 1983 and 1995, and has been the traditional home of the Los Angeles Open since the 1940s.
