Individual and team dressage events were held concurrently at the 1936 Berlin Olympics over two days at the Maifeld in the Reichssportfeld. The competitions were restricted to men and military officers, as they would be through 1948. Germany won both dressage events, and in fact, won all six equestrian events in 1936. The individual dressage was won by Heinz Pollay.
