Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Debbie Henry moved with her family to Madison, Wisconsin as a young child. She would eventually curl at four Winter Olympics for the United States – 1998, 2002, 2010, and 2014. Henry-McCormick starred as a junior, winning two silvers and a bronze at the World Junior Curling Championships. In 2003 she skipped the USA to the World Championship, the first ever for the United States in women’s curling. She also won silver medals at the Worlds in 1996 and 2006. In all, Henry-McCormick competed nine times at the senior World Championships.
