Harriet King fenced foil for the United States at the 1960, 1964, 1968, and 1972 Olympics. She also competed at four Pan American Games, winning team foil golds in 1959, 1963, 1967, and 1971, and individual foil silvers in 1963 and 1967. King fenced at Hunter College, graduating in 1957. She was later the editor of American Fencing magazine.
