Raimundo Rey had the following podium finishes at major championships: 2nd in the 1951 Pan American Games team (with Francisco Cascante, Baldomaro Rubiera, Roberto Villacián, Fernando Lecuona, Angel Aguiar, Rafael Lecuona, and the non-Olympian José A. Vázquez).
