Biography

West German gymnast Erich Wied, twin brother of Theo Wied, participated at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics. He finished fourth in the all-around team event and finished 40th in the all-around individual competition. At Melbourne four years later he finished fifth with the team and 41st in the individual all-around.
