Biography

Mieczysław Strzałka was a Polish gymnast who represented Start Bielsko in the 1970s. As a junior competitor Strzałka won three national titles before winning five further titles as a senior at the Polish championships. Selected to compete at the 1972 München Olympics, he finished fourth with Poland in the team all-round competition. Individually Strzałka’s best performances came in the pommelled horse and the vault, finishing 28th and 30th, respectively.
