Ivan Čaklec was a Croatian Yugoslav gymnast who competed at the 1956, 1960, and 1964 Olympics. He was a bronze medalist on pommelled horse at the 1967 European Championships and won a team silver medal at the 1963 Mediterranean Games. He later studied kinesiology in Zagreb, becoming a full professor in the Faculty of Kinesiology.
