German rower Ike Landvoigt was the son of Jörg Landvoigt and the nephew of Bernd Landvoigt and his wife Viola Goretzki. Ike was a member of the coxless fours at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics (finishing ninth) and the 2000 Sydney Olympics (11th). In 1995, he was world champion with the eights, and in 1998 won the silver medal.
Domestically, Landvoigt won national titles with the eights in 1995, 1997-99, and 2005-06. In 1999 and 2002, he also won the coxless pairs national title, partnering Detlef Kirchhoff, and in 2001 and 2003 with Jan Herzog. By profession, Landvoigt became a lawyer at Berlin, specialising in real estate and employment law.
