Polish rower Cezary Jędrzycki represented AZS Warszawa in the 1990s, also participating at international competitions. In 1992 Jędrzycki won gold in the quadruple sculls over 500 and 2,000 metres at the FISU World University Championships in Poznań. That same year he was selected to compete at the Barcelona Olympics in the same event, where the Polish crew placed 11th overall after finishing fifth in the B Final. Back in Poland he became a national champion in the single sculls in 1996. Jędrzycki later moved to England, where he lived until his death in January 2026.
