Franz Mileder was an Austrian heavyweight wrestler who placed third at both the 1911 Unofficial World and 1912 Unofficial European Championships. At the 1924 Paris Olympics he placed 13th after losing his second-round match to the eventual silver medallist Edil Rosenqvist from Finland.
Mileder became one of the well-known professional wrestlers in the 1920s, up to World War II. In April 1946 he reorganised the Professional Wrestling Lodge of Wien (Vienna), an alliance of wrestlers, managers, and promoters in Austria that organised tournaments and set the rules in the country.
